Annual Scotties Fair  - held in October 

We hold an annual fair each fall in our social hall.   We offer lunch of hot chicken sandwiches, baked beans, coleslaw, homemade pie & coffee.  We also have a variety of crafts, baked goods, & other items.  Half of the proceeds go towards a local mission effort.  In 2015, we will be donating to the  Backpack Program of Watonwan County.   

 

Congregational Outings

The Congregational Life committee plans different churchwide outings to enjoy fun & fellowship together.  Past events include bowling, a family fun day at Lake Crystal Rec Center, Christmas Caroling, & an outing to New Ulm.

 

Prayer and Care Outreach

First Presbyterian would like to make 2015 the year of caring for our membership so that we are better equipped to be the hands and feet of Jesus out to a hurting world.  In order to make this happen prayer teams are being set up to pray and do random acts of kindness for our membership throughout 2015.  If you would like to be a part of this Prayer and Care outreach for our church please contact a member of the leadership team:  Sue and Paul Harris, Linda and Doug Becken, Linda Buller, Jan Zender .
